PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a luminescent-point pixel unnoticeable when the luminescent-point pixel exists in a dark part of a display image.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 100 includes: a first liquid crystal display element 303 in which each pixel is driven in response to an input image signal; a second liquid crystal display element 304 that is overlapped with respect to the first liquid crystal display element; storage means 202 that stores a location of a first pixel serving as a luminescent-point pixel out of the first liquid crystal display element; and correction control means 203 that drives a second pixel overlapped on the first pixel having the position stored in the storage means out of the second liquid crystal display element on the basis of a correction drive condition to be obtained from a drive condition of the first pixel in response to the input image signal.
