<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior material for power storage devices superior in moldability.SOLUTION: An exterior material 1 for power storage devices, which covers a battery element of the power storage device, comprises: a copper metal foil layer 11; an adhesive layer 12 formed on the metal foil layer 11; and a sealant layer 13 formed on the adhesive layer 12. Because of being formed by a copper foil, the metal foil layer is superior in extensibility and has good moldability in drawing and high corrosion resistance. When an acid-modified polyolefin-based resin is used as the adhesive layer, the metal foil layer can be put in close contact with a polyolefin-based resin or acid-modified polyolefin-based resin used for the sealant layer firmly. Accordingly, even if an electrolytic solution infiltrates, the exterior material for power storage devices can readily retain the adhesion force between the sealant layer and the metal foil. The metal foil layer has a thickness of 10-40μm, and has a coating layer with the thickness of 10-30μm formed on the side opposite to the adhesive layer.</p> |
