PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of surely and sufficiently reducing vibration or noise.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes an annular stator 15 and a rotor 14 which is disposed at an inner peripheral side of the stator 15 in a freely rotatable manner. In the stator 15, a plurality of stator teeth 51 which protrude closer to the rotor 14 and around which a coil 52 is wound are provided at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. In the rotor 14, a plurality of rotor teeth 41 which protrude closer to the stator 15 are provided at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. The rotor teeth 41 include: a protrusive teeth main body part 42; and an extension part 43 extending from a front end of the teeth main body part 42 to both sides in the circumferential direction. In the middle of the rotor teeth 41 in a protruding direction, a constriction part 44 is provided which has a minimum width WR2 in a circumferential direction smaller than a width WS1 of a front end of the stator teeth 51 in a circumferential direction. |
