PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement an input with high usability.SOLUTION: A character input support device which supports a user to input a character comprises: an input unit 11 for accepting a character input of a user through a touch panel display; a detection unit 17 for comparing pattern information showing a tendency of user operation which has been previously acquired with the input character and detecting a wrong input of the user; and a teaching unit 19 and an absorption unit 21 for, when the wrong input is detected, estimating at least one correct input on the basis of the detected wrong input and the pattern information and outputting an estimation result.
