<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which cutting is unable to elaborately execute cutting by one line, when a line and a cutting line bend or a twist is occasionally caused in an object by a writing instrument used along a conventional ruler, and in which an accident preventive countermeasure is not sufficient to a fingertip with a slide of a cutter and disconnection from a guide when using the cutter, since run-out and positional dislocation are finally caused in work when pressing force is not sufficiently transmitted to an edge over the total length of becoming a pivot of a ruler fixation.SOLUTION: In a ruler, an arch part of upwardly swelling a part sandwiched by a pair of parallel notches by heating or processing means of chemical treatment, is integrally formed with a raw material plate, and slip resistance is wholly or partially applied to a reverse surface of the arch part, and when pressing the arch part by a fingertip along the outer edge of the pair of parallel notches, parallel projection strips are formed for receiving pressing force from its fingertip, and a support edge for receiving the pressing force to both edges in the direction along the notches, is formed on an under surface of the raw material plate.</p> |
