摘要	PURPOSE: A method for preparing ethylene polymers and ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymers having narrow particle diameter distribution and increased apparent density is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing ethylene polymers and ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymers according to the present invention is characterized in that the polymerization reaction is carried out using the catalyst prepared by reacting organic magnesium compound having the formula MgPh2.nMgCl2.mR2O(wherein Ph=phenyl, n=0.37 to 0.7, m&gE;1 and R2O=ether) and organic chlorine compound at temperature between -20 degees celsius and 80 degees celsius with the mole ratio of organic chlorine compound to magnesium more than 0.5 and then treating the obtained magnesium-containing carrier with oxygen-containing titanium compound and one or more organic aluminium compounds as a co-catalyst.
