<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular bumper beam which is light-weight, has excellent productivity, and exhibits excellent energy absorption performance in the case of collisions from different directions.SOLUTION: A vehicular bumper beam 10 is a bumper beam 10 which is arranged near the front end part or the rear end part of a vehicle body, extends in a vehicle width direction, and has a hollow structure. It has a separator 13 which is arranged between an outer surface wall 14 constituting a collision surface of the bumper beam 10 and an inner surface wall 19 facing the outer surface wall 14 and extends in the vehicle width direction.The separator 13 has reinforcement parts 25 formed in it, of which positions change toward an upper or lower direction. Thus, the bumper beam is light-weight and has excellent productivity, while having little deformation in its cross-sectional shape in the case of collisions from different directions and being capable of absorbing collision energy efficiently.</p> |
