PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated liquid diet to be easily administered, with gastroesophageal reflux inhibited.SOLUTION: The concentrated liquid diet includes the following (A) or (B), calcium, and a chelate agent, having a viscosity of 250 mPa s or less before contact with gastric juices and a viscosity of 2,000 mPa s or more after contact with gastric juices: (A) a sodium alginate (a-1) having a weight average molecular weight (M) of 100,000 g/mol or less with a guluronic acid content of 85% or more, and an alginic acid or a sodium salt thereof (a-2) having an Mof 100,000 g/mol or more; (B) a pectin (b-1) having an Mof 100,000 g/mol or less and a degree of methyl esterification (DM) of 40% or less, and a pectin (b-2) having an Mof 100,000 g/mol or more. |
