FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: invention is related to gas discharge equipment and may be used for developing and manufacturing of dischargers with hydrogen filling having a long service life and high stability of dynamic breakdown voltage. The method for the discharger manufacturing consists in the placement of structure elements in a shell including an insulator, filling of the shell with an electronegative gas, training with further eliminating of the gas from the shell, its washing with hydrogen and filling with a working gas up to the pressure ensuring the preset dynamic breakdown voltage. Upon filling of the shell with the working gas, voltage pulses are sent to electrodes and training is performed in the operating mode provided that the dynamic breakdown voltage in the discharge gap is equal to leakage breakdown voltage at the inner surface of the insulator. Duration of training in the operating mode may be reduced if a voltage pulse is generated at the electrodes as a damping sinusoid with low damping decrement, actuation of the charger is ensured at the leading edge of the pulse of the first half-wave with an amplitude practically twice less than the amplitude of the second half-wave and the pulse amplitude is reduced until a leakage discharge appears at the insulator at the second half-wave of the damping sinusoid with the further increase of the amplitude until the transfer of the discharge breakdown to the leading edge of the damping sinusoid, thereupon the device should be trained until setting the high stability of the dynamic breakdown voltage without leakage breakdowns at the inner surface of the insulator.EFFECT: increasing durability and stability of the dynamic breakdown voltage for the discharger with hydrogen filling.2 cl |
