The present invention provides a homogenization method for a Cu alloy comprising Ru, said homogenization method being characterized by comprising a step in which at least one substance selected from the group consisting of Fe, Ni, FeSi, and Si is added to a Cu alloy that comprises at least Ru and the Ru that is segregated within the Cu alloy is homogenized. This homogenization method improves the solubility of Ru with respect to a Cu alloy comprising Ru and makes it possible to precisely measure the precious metal content within the Cu alloy.
