Start-up valve for a granulator comprising a housing (1) and a cylindrical changeover slide (2), which can slide through the housing (1) and which connects an intake (6) for a plastic melt with either a melt outlet (7) or a granulating head of the granulator. In order to ensure a tight passage of the changeover slide (2) through the housing (1), the invention proposes that one of the two valve parts, formed by both the housing (1) and by the changeover slide (2), on both sides of the intake (6) for the plastic melt has a conical annular recess (9), open to the respective other valve part, for a sealing ring (10), which can be impinged upon by a clamping ring (11) in an axial direction. |
