<p>The present invention relates to an e-actuator of a high efficiency diesel engine turbo charger. A method to detect an error of an electronic actuator of an electronic variable geometry turbo-charger (eVGT) includes a step of mathematically modeling the e-actuator, and determining a parameter prediction value by using a parameter identification technique for the modeling of the e-actuator; a step of setting a threshold value defined as the maximum and minimum values for each parameter prediction value; and a step of determining a normal state if the parameter prediction value exists in a range of the threshold value, and determining an abnormal state if the value does not exist. According to the present invention, the error of the e-actuator is quickly and easily detected.</p> |
