The present invention relates to a packing unit of an automatic packing machine which automatically packs a content by folding a packing sheet wound on a roll supplied from a sheet transport unit, in a longitudinal direction, the packing unit comprising: a sealing roller which includes a transverse sealing roller which is configured in a disc shape and seals a packing sheet in a transverse direction and a longitudinal sealing roller which has the same center axis as that of the transverse sealing roller, is configured by a rectangular pillar with a width larger than its thickness, has one side inserted to the center of the transverse sealing roller and the other side configured in a disc shape, seals the packing sheet, and is operated separately from the transverse sealing roller; a cutting roller which is separated from the sealing roller and has a straight cutting blade on a thickness face of one side; a transverse sealing motor which drives the transverse sealing roller; a longitudinal sealing motor which drives the longitudinal sealing roller; a cutting motor which drives the cutting roller; and a control unit which controls the transverse sealing motor, the longitudinal sealing motor, and the cutting motor, and a control method thereof. The packing sheet is completely cut at once by the longitudinal sealing unit and the transverse sealing unit, various types of packing are possible by cutting the packing sheet containing the packing content to a bundle of two, three, ... n, a packing width of the packing sheet containing the packing content can be various types such as 50 mm, 60 mm, ... 150 mm, and the packing sheets with different packing widths are packed to one package, thereby achieving various types of packing. |
