<p>The invention relates to a cash processing apparatus which can easily detect abnormal wisps. When a wisp binding payment machine (3) which serves as the cash processing apparatus receiving a wisp (T), an upper surface image of the wisp (T) held by a wisp grasping portion (24) is acquired through a denomination determination sensor (51) of a push and press portion (25), and whether the wisp (T) is normally bound is determined on the basis of the upper surface image. As a result, abnormal wisps (T) can be detected when the wisps (T) are being received without extra detailed survey on all the wisps received in wisp vaults (26) (26a to 26d) as usual.</p> |
