METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMPROVING DIGITAL PFC CIRCUIT RELIABILITY

A method and device for improving digital PFC circuit reliability. The method comprises a bus overvoltage protection policy, an inductive overcurrent protection policy, and a reducing inductive current policy. The bus overvoltage protection policy utilises secondary protection means, the inductive overcurrent protection policy utilises pulse-by-pulse current limiting protection, and the reducing inductive current policy reduces a pulse-by-pulse current limiting point when utilising pulse-by-pulse, and clears a loop intermediate variable when an inductive current reference is greater than a certain value. The present method reduces electrical stress of a device when performing input output dynamic switching.
