PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector reduced in load of maintenance and using no environmental load substances. ! SOLUTION: A rotary connector W having a rotation-side terminal 11 and a stationary side terminal 21, includes a first magnet electrode 16 mounted on the rotation-side terminal 11 and electrically connected to the rotation-side terminal 11, and a second magnet electrode 26 mounted on the stationary-side terminal 21 and electrically connected to the stationary-side terminal 21. The first magnet electrode 16 and the second magnet electrode 26 are arranged so as to be spaced from each other so that mutual end faces face each other and a predetermined gap S is formed. The gap S is filled with a magnetic fluid 40 formed of magnetic powder.
