The present invention relates to a method for synchronization of a graphical or audible representation of a musical score with an audio signal acquired in real-time and corresponding to the performance of said musical score. This method consists of producing a spectral signature of a temporal sequence of said acquired audio signal, comparing said spectral signature with the spectral signatures of said musical score for a plurality of tempos, in order to calculate a correlation rating for each of said spectral signatures, and determining an estimated tempo corresponding to the best correlation. |
