<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing crystallized glass in which the mean linear expansion coefficient is very small at 0°C to 50°C, and the change of inclination of the ΔL/L curve is very small. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing crystallized glass comprises heat-treating glass containing each component of Li<SB>2</SB>O, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and SiO<SB>2</SB>to make crystallized glass containing β-quartz and/or β-quartz solid solution in a crystal phase. The method for manufacturing crystallized glass described in Claim 1 is characterized in that at least one heat insulating process N<SB>G</SB>in the heat treatment is in a region in which coordinates of four points of the following A to D are connected in a graph in which temperatures (°C) are x-axis and hours (h) are y-axis.
