<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for opening and closing a smart power trunk of a vehicle, and, more specifically, to an apparatus for opening and closing a smart power trunk of a vehicle, which is made to easily open and close a trunk lid by using voice recognition. That is, the present invention aims to provide an apparatus and a method for opening and closing a smart power trunk of a vehicle, wherein a microphone is added to the trunk. When a smart key approaches within a certain distance, an audio video navigation (AVN) system boots and activates the microphone. When the user gives a voice command such as′Open the door (trunk)′, the voice entered through the microphone and the pre-saved voice are compared.
