a plurality of processing devices each associated with device information; a relay device configured to acquire a specified processing request using non-contact communication, wherein each of the processing devices include at least one processing function associated with unique function information, the relay device includes
a memory configured to store the device information corresponding to the processing devices,an interface configured to transmit specified function information to the plurality of the processing devices, andcircuitry configured to record, in the storage portion, device information transmitted from the processing devices in response to the specified function information, and the relay device is configured to select one of the processing devices that corresponds to the specified processing function based on the device information recorded in the memory, and transmit the processing request to the selected processing device when the relay device receives the processing request for a specified one of the processing functions.
