<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for selecting radios and mapping applications to radios on a wireless device.SOLUTION: A wireless network has at least one application that is active and a plurality of radios that are available for use. A wireless device selects at least one radio among the plurality of radios on the basis of requirements of the at least one application and possibly other factors. The wireless device also determines a mapping of the at least one application to the at least one radio on the basis of the requirements of the at least one application, the performance of the at least one radio, and/or other factors. The wireless device further maps the at least one application to the at least one radio on the basis of the mapping.</p> |
