PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protection film which secures good visibility without rainbow irregularity when viewed from an oblique direction relative to a direction perpendicular to a display surface of a liquid crystal display device even when thickness of the film is reduced.SOLUTION: A polarizer protection film comprises a polyester film. The polyester film is made of a polyester containing a polyether component as a copolymerization component, and has an in-plane retardation of 3000 to 30000 nm.
