A tire valve ID registration system is provided with: a plurality of tire valves (4) provided to a plurality of tires (2), each of the plurality of tire valves (4) transmitting a radio signal including a unique valve ID and tire air pressure data; and a receiver (12) for receiving the radio signals transmitted from each of the plurality of tire valves (4), the receiver (12) being provided to a vehicle (1); the plurality of valve IDs of a host vehicle being registered to the receiver (12), and the air pressure of the plurality of tires being monitored on the basis of the plurality of received radio signals. The tire valve ID registration system is provided with: an ID-candidate collection unit (19) for receiving the plurality of valve IDs included in the radio signals received by the receiver (12) during a temporary registration period, and collecting each of the plurality of received valve IDs as a plurality of candidate IDs; and an ID confirmation unit (20) for measuring the time elapsed after receiving each of the plurality of candidate IDs, monitoring whether each of the plurality of candidate IDs can be received again within a fixed amount of time, and, if not, excluding the candidate IDs that could not be received again from the plurality of candidate IDs, thereby confirming the plurality of valve IDs of the host vehicle from among the plurality of candidate IDs. |
