The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of 4-substituted coumarin derivatives using iron catalysts and basic additives and, more specifically, to a method which ensures to manufacture 4-substituted coumarin derivatives having various functional groups at the position 4 with high yield in a short period of time while minimizing production of byproducts through a coupling reaction with a Grignard reagent by having 4-substituted coumarin sulfate as a starting material.
