PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set excellent in ink storage stability.SOLUTION: This ink set includes black ink, yellow ink, magenta ink and cyan ink, in which the black ink contains as a colorant at least one selected from the group consisting of a compound expressed by general formula (1) and a salt thereof, where in the formula, A represents a substituted or nonsubstituted aryl group, or a substituted or nonsubstituted nitrogen-containing five-membered heterocyclic group; G represents a nitrogen atom or -C(R)=; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, sulfo, carboxy, substituted or nonsubstituted carbamoyl or cyano group; Y, Yand Yeach independently represent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent, and Y, Yand Ymay form a ring by bonding each other, provided that there is no case that all of Y, Yand Yrepresent hydrogen atoms simultaneously; and Ms each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent counter-cation. |
