The present invention relates to a power transmission apparatus for transmitting power between components and a toy for an assembly comprising the same. According to the present invention, the power transmission apparatus comprises: a housing including an operation space inside; a connection hole opening in at least one direction of the housing; a gear assembly operated inside the operation space of the housing, and whose connection link equipped in one end is exposed to an outside through the connection hole; and a combination tube to selectively connect a gap between two connection holes of the power transmission apparatus and the opposite power transmission apparatus connected to the same. The connection link of the power transmission apparatus is interlocked by being connected with the opposite connection link inside the combination tube. The present invention has an effect of improving usability by easily forming a power transmission structure by younger users as a power transmission apparatus is formed to have one independent housing with a function such as direction conversion or deceleration respectively, and various functions can be performed through simple combination therebetween.
