<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of avoiding interference from the other system and also minimizing interference to the other system, and thereby, improving reliability, especially in communication between a mobile station moving at high speed and a base station. <P>SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system, a base station 102 performs carrier sensing to select a channel with small interference, and transmits a unique word a plurality of times using the selected channel. A mobile station 101 performs channel search with respect to the unique word transmitted a plurality of times from the base station 102 to determine a channel to be used, performs carrier sensing for a plurality of channels that can be used in a next super frame derived from the determined channel, and transmits results of the carrier sensing to the base station 102 as channel quality information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
