<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction technology of abrasion amount with high precision, which is specified to the flash surface of a forging die, in the technology of performing forging using the forging die while generating burrs. <P>SOLUTION: In the technology of performing forging using forging dies 11, 12 while generating burrs 14, the number of shots leading to lifetime of the forging dies 11, 12 is calculated using the fact that the product of the movement of the burrs 14 in one shot obtained by the simulation and the number of shots is in direct proportion to the measured abrasion amount of flash surfaces 11a, 12a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
