<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in the prior arts, for a transformer installed between an AC system and a conversion circuit, a transformed of which the bias magnetism resistance is improved by enlarging a core sectional area while estimating the presence of an offset error or the like in a current sensor is used in general but in the transformer of which the bias magnetism resistance is improved, since the core sectional area is large, a volume, a weight, an installation area and the like of an entire power conversion device such as STATCOM may be increased.SOLUTION: A power conversion device is configured byΔconnection of three serial circuits each including an arm and a reactor configured by serially connecting one or more unit converters, the unit converter of at least two terminals including an energy storage element and a switching element, and a point of theΔconnection is connected to a transformer. The arm or the unit converter includes at least one capacitor and a current flowing to the arm flows in any one of the capacitors without fail.</p> |
