CORE-SHEATH TYPE COMPOSITE FIBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-sheath type composition fiber desirably available for industries having higher strength level than ever before and good in spinning property or quality while having fiber surface property of polyphenylene sulfide.SOLUTION: The core-sheath type composite fiber has a core component consisting of polyester and a sheath component consisting of a blend polymer of polyester and polyphenylene sulfide where the polyester in the sheath component is fine dispersed with dispersion diameter of 0.5μm or less and strength is 5 to 8 cN/dtex.
