PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a groove for fragmenting swarfs generated during cutting work with a lathe to easily be formed by the lathe itself. ! SOLUTION: A guide bush 20, comprising a guide gripping part that grips a work-piece W of a round-bar cutting object and a cylindrical body part 22 formed rearward of the guide gripping part integrally and concentrically with the guide gripping part to rotate by synchronism with a main shaft, is provided in the body part 22 with blades 32 that form swarf cutting grooves along the outer peripheral surface in their insertion direction when the work-piece W is to be inserted through the body part 22. The blades 32 are provided in a blade unit 30 fitted into the body part 22, and integrally anchored at one or more points of a cylindrical blade fixing member 31 to extend along the axial direction of the blade fixing member 31, and keep blade tips 32a projecting out of the inner peripheral surface 31c of the blade fixing member 31. !
