<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing useless ejection of paper sheets even in the case where print processing is input from the outside when document jamming occurs in an ADF, and a control method of the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a reading part for reading an image of a document; a document conveyance part for conveying the document; an I/F to which image data are input; an image forming part for forming, on a paper sheet, the read image or an image based on the input image data; a conveyance path for conveying paper sheets to the image forming part; and a control circuit part for controlling conveyance of paper sheets and the image to be formed. While a document is conveyed by the document conveyance part and an image read by the reading part is formed on a paper sheet, when document jamming occurs in the document conveyance part during conveyance of paper sheets within the conveyance path, the paper sheet is ejected from the image forming part after the paper sheet reaches the image forming part. When image data are input before the paper sheet reaches the image forming part, the paper sheet is conveyed to the image forming part and an image based on the input image data is formed on the paper sheet.</p> |
