<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of installing a component incorporated in a blow molded article, in which the incorporated component can be installed by means of fusion to an inner surface of an outer wall of a fuel tank at a predetermine position with simple equipment.SOLUTION: In a method of installing a component 20 incorporated in a blow molded article 1, an upper part and a lower part of the component 20 to be incorporated are held by an upper side holding member 30 and a lower side holding member 35, a blow molding die 40 is opened, then a parison 8 is positioned, and the component 20 to be incorporated is inserted into the parison 8 while being held by the upper side holding member 30 and the lower side holding member 35. In the upper side and the lower side of the blow molding die 40, the parison 8 is nipped by an upper pinch plate 43 and a lower pinch plate 44, and an upper side pinch part 32 and a lower side pinch part 37 are welded with the parison 8. The parison 8 is adsorbed to the blow molding die 40, and part abutted on the component 20 to be incorporated forms a parison recess part 8a, on which a tip of the component to be incorporated is abutted to be held.</p> |
