Disclosed are a smart device based on a thing searching browser and a thing mashup method using the same. The smart device based on a thing searching browser according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a thing searching browser which searches and connects things; a communication thing object manager which provides an open application programming interface to support a search for and connection of things through the thing searching browser, and generates a communication thing object and a communication thing profile from a thing which has been searched; and a thing object communication channel manager which sets and manages a communication channel between the thing and the communication thing object.
