PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change properties of a rotary electric machine in response to a load state without generating a useless conductor that is electrified but does not contribute to torque or output.SOLUTION: In a motor, one end portion of a conductor bar 17 is connected to a positive electrode terminal 31 of a DC power source 27 via a first positive electrode side switch 26 and connected to a negative electrode terminal 32 of the DC power source 27 via a second negative electrode side switch 28. The other end portion of the conductor bar 27 is connected to the negative electrode terminal 32 of the DC power source 27 via a first negative electrode side switch 29 and connected to the positive electrode terminal 31 of the DC power source 27 via a second positive electrode side switch 30. The first positive electrode side switch 26, the second negative electrode side switch 28, the first negative electrode side switch 29 and the second positive electrode side switch 30 are controlled by a control device, such that an amplitude and a phase of a current flowing to each conductor bar 17 are individually controlled. |
