<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing paper having higher flame retardancy and excellent printing characteristics, and to provide a method for economically providing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is flame retardant printing paper which is judged as a flame retardant product at least in a 45° micro burner method or a combustibility test method specified as JIS Standard A1322. The paper is non-coated fine quality paper having paper density of 1.0 or less or non-coated fancy paper having paper density of 1.0 or less, including a flame retardant containing a nitrogen-based compound as an active ingredient in a dry amount corresponding to 7 to 15% of a basis weight. The printing paper has high flame retardancy, can be printed clearly without generating bleeding and blurring in printing even when any of inkjet printing and offset printing is carried out, and has high flame retardancy and good printing characteristics.</p> |
