<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker suitable for cooking quick-cooking rice.SOLUTION: A rice cooker 1 includes: a rice cooker body 2 having an opening 20; a lid part 3 closing the opening 20 of the rice cooker body 2; a heating part 22 heating the inside of the rice cooker body 2; a reservoir part 320 capable of reserving quick-cooking rice; a charging mechanism 32 capable of charging the reserved quick-cooking rice in the rice cooker body 2; and a detection part 23 detecting the condition of water stored in the rice cooker body 2. The rice cooker 1 is such that the charging mechanism 32 charges the quick-cooking rice reserved in the reservoir part 320 into the rice cooker body 2 when the detection part 23 detects that water stored in the rice cooker body 2 is in an almost boiling state in a heating process for heating the inside of the rice cooker body 2 storing the water by the heating part 22 while closing the opening 20 of the rice cooker body 2 with the lid body 3.</p> |
