METAL BODY DETECTOR, AND METAL BODY DETECTION DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal body detector and a metal body detection device which are capable of improving detection accuracy of a metal body.SOLUTION: A metal body detector 10 comprises: a detection coil 1 formed so as to surround a detection region C1 for detecting a metal body 21 on a reference plane B1; a shield member 2 which is disposed on an outer periphery of the detection coil 1 on the reference plane B1 and shields an electromagnetic wave; and a frame body 3 which includes a magnetic material and is disposed between the detection coil 1 and the shield member 2 on the reference plane B1. The frame body 3 is attached to an outer peripheral surface of the detection coil 1 and positioned in a first direction A1 orthogonal to the reference plane B1. A metal body detection device 20 comprises: a metal body detector 10; an oscillation circuit which allows current to flow in the detection coil 1 to generate a magnetic field; and a detection circuit which detects the metal body 21 in the detection region C1 on the basis of changes in oscillation amplitude of the oscillation circuit.
