摘要 A radar apparatus is installed in a vehicle and receives a reflection wave from a target to derive information about the target. The radar apparatus includes a signal processor to extract a peak signal that is obtained from a difference frequency between a transmission signal whose frequency changes in a prescribed cycle and a reception signal representing reception of a reflection wave that is generated from a transmission wave of the transmission signal reflected by the target, in each of an up period in which the frequency of the transmission signal increases and a down period in which the frequency decreases; and to determine whether a target information derivation environment is good or bad based on a number of the peak signals each of which corresponds to a static object having a plurality of angle information.
