PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head enabling sharing a drive circuit by providing a color nozzle array and a black nozzle array on one nozzle substrate, and allowing downsizing by reducing the number of wires to a drive circuit.SOLUTION: In a nozzle substrate 6 to be incorporated into an ink jet head, a first corresponding position 67 to which a formation position of a nozzle array 62K corresponds, and a second corresponding position 68 to which a formation position of nozzle arrays 62C, 62M, and 62Y corresponds are arranged in the parallel direction on a semiconductor substrate. The nozzle array 62K and the nozzle arrays 62C, 62M, and 62Y are arranged while aligning one end sides in the arrangement direction. In the semiconductor substrate, a formation position 41 of a drive circuit 40 is provided on a position between the first corresponding position 67 and the second corresponding position 68 in the parallel direction. The nozzle substrate 6 has a recessed polygonal shape in a plan view along a contour line surrounding a region occupied by the first corresponding position 67, the second corresponding position 68, and the formation position 41. |
