A positive electrode mixture layer in this non-aqueous secondary battery contains a first positive electrode active material and a second positive electrode active material that comprise a lithium-containing composite oxide indicated by general composition formula (1). (1): Li1+yMO2. The first positive electrode active material includes Co; the second positive electrode active material includes Co, Ni, and Mn; the first positive electrode active material content is at least 20% by mass relative to the total positive electrode active material included in the positive electrode mixture layer; the density of the positive electrode mixture layer is no more than 3.4 g/cm3; and a negative electrode mixture layer includes carbon-coated SiOx and graphite or a conductive layer is formed on the surface of a positive electrode collector.
