An oblique capturing camera, comprising a camera body (3), a lens (5) disposed at the front of the camera body (3) and an inductive chip (1) disposed within the camera body (3) and forming an angle with the optical axis of the lens (5). Also provided is a camera oblique capturing method, mainly comprising: arranging the camera lens (5) obliquely relative to the oblique target object until the target object (6) for focal plane imaging satisfies required sharpness. The oblique capturing camera realizes higher sharpness for object capturing and a wider range, and the oblique capturing method increases the area within the depth of field and improves sharpness.
