PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of easily identifying a charge suspension capacity when a life preferential capacity is set.SOLUTION: The display device includes: a residual amount display unit for displaying the residual amount of a secondary battery by scale; and a life preferential mode setting unit for setting the life preferential capacity smaller than a full charge capacity as a power upper limit capacity to be charged to the secondary battery and displays, when the life preferential capacity is set, on the residual amount display unit by a life preferential scale having a color or a shape different from the ordinary scale.
