PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that allows a user to recognize a situation where a communication device cannot perform a target function at a relatively early stage.SOLUTION: A printer, upon reception of a print instruction and AT from a mobile terminal, determines whether a print execution unit can execute print processing or not without using the AT (S12). When the print processing is determined to be executable (YES in S12), the printer 10, using the AT, determines whether or not communication for executing the print processing with a print mediation server is possible (S24, S28, S30). When the communication for executing the print processing is determined to be not possible (NO in S24, S28, or S30), the printer displays a screen showing that the print processing is not executable on a display unit 14 thereof (S32). When the communication for executing the print processing is determined to be possible (YES in S24, S28, and S30), the printer communicates with the print mediation server. |
