<p>A lock 40 for coupling a track roller frame (18, Figure 1) to a main frame (12, Figure 1) of a tracked vehicle (10, Figure 1) comprises a lock chamber 42 in the track roller frame, suitably within a pivot support 32, for inserting a pivot shaft 37 having an indentation 45, suitably an annular groove, spaced from a free end 31 and locatable in lock chamber 42. A wedge 52, suitably in a split ring having a plurality of arcuate wedges 52 distributed about pivot shaft 30, is insertable into indentation 45 and abuts a shoulder 46 in chamber 42 to couple pivot shaft 37 to the track roller frame. A holding member 60 bears against wedge 52 and a wall 44 of chamber 42, and is held by an end cap 72 mounted to the track roller frame. Pivot shaft 32 may have a fixed end 33 attachable to the main frame. Lock 40 may provide rapid assembly and disassembly.</p> |
