<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that can detect a temperature of a fixing roller with high accuracy without heat isolation from the fixing roller even when the heat quantity received by a temperature sensor is great. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus 10 includes: a fixing roller 11; a pressure roller 12 for forming a fixing nip between the fixing roller 11 and the pressure roller 12; a heating mechanism 13 for generating heat on the fixing roller; and a housing 14 for storing therein these elements. The fixing apparatus 10 further includes: an infrared sensor 1 for receiving infrared ray from the fixing roller to detect a temperature thereof; an insulation film; a first heat sensitive element and a second heat sensitive element aligned apart from each other on a surface of the insulation film; a first conductive wiring film connected to the first heat sensitive element and a second conductive wiring film connected to the second heat sensitive element formed on the surface of the insulation film; and an infrared reflection film provided on the other surface of the insulation film opposing to the second heat sensitive element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
