PURPOSE:To prepare a heat-accumulating material exhibiting very little supercooling, having stable heat-absorbing and emitting characteristics, and suitable for air-conditioning, etc., by adding disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate as a supercooling preventing agent to an aqueous solution of sodium acetate. CONSTITUTION:The objective heat-accumulating material is prepared by mixing 100pt.wt. of an aqueous solution containing >=50wt% sodium acetate with preferably 0.01-30pt. of disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate (Na2H2P4O7), and if necessary, adding various additives, e.g. thickener such as CMC and sepiolite clay, numcleating agent, agent for regulating the solidifying and heat-emitting temperature, etc. |
