<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress production of bubbles in glass melt in a glass production apparatus using a Pt vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The glass production apparatus has a Pt vessel 11, a hydrogen permeation inhibition layer 12, and a refractory member 15. The Pt vessel 11 is made of Pt or Pt alloy. The hydrogen permeation inhibition layer 12 covers the outer surface 11a of the Pt vessel 11. The hydrogen permeation inhibition layer 12 is composed of a glass 12b in which ceramic particles 12a are dispersed. Needle crystals lengthen from the surfaces of the ceramic particles 12a. The refractory member 15 is disposed on the outside of the Pt vessel 11 and holds the hydrogen permeation inhibition layer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
