<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multitype air conditioner that eliminates the need to increase the CPU capacity of an outdoor unit designated as a master unit and eliminates differences between the master unit and slave units as outdoor units even if the number of outdoor units connected in parallel increases. <P>SOLUTION: In the multitype air conditioner with a plurality of outdoor units connected in parallel, each of the plurality of outdoor units is equipped with compressor rotation control means 9A, 9B, and 9C. One of the outdoor units is designated as a master unit. Then, the compressor rotation control means 9A of the master unit calculates an overall target rotation command position. Based on the command position, the overall target rotation command position of each outdoor unit is decided and then a command is issued.
