A pneumatic tire comprising: a pair of bead portions; side wall portions which extend to outer sides in a tire diametrical direction from the respective bead portions; a tread portion which connects outer ends in the tire diametrical direction of the side wall portions; and circular arc shaped or annular installation members each of which is structured detachably by a fitting structure between a groove portion and a projection extending in a tire peripheral direction, with respect to a tire side wall surface which reaches the tread portion from the bead portion via the side wall portion, wherein a structure in which the groove portion and the projection interfere with each other in the tire peripheral direction is provided between the groove portion and the projection, wherein in a boundary between a partial predetermined area of the groove portion and adjacent areas on both sides in the tire peripheral direction of the predetermined area, paired groove side intersecting surfaces which intersect with or are orthogonal to the tire peripheral direction in a state in which the groove side wall of the predetermined area is notched are provided, and paired projection side intersecting surfaces which intersect with or are orthogonal to the tire peripheral direction in a state in which a projection width of the area corresponding to the predetermined area is expanded are provided at a position corresponding to the boundary in the projection, and wherein the groove side intersecting surfaces and the projection side intersecting surfaces are in a positional relationship that they interfere with each other in the tire peripheral direction in a fitting state of the groove portion and the projection portion.
